I dedicate a significant amount of time to cooking, whether it’s crafting meals for my family and friends or simply enjoying the process for myself. After spending countless hours perfecting Italian dishes, including my personal quest to create the ideal sourdough pizza, I’ve recently begun exploring other culinary traditions. Japanese and Peruvian cuisines have always captivated me, and I’ve come to discover the fascinating ways in which these two seemingly distinct cultures intersect, particularly through Nikkei cuisine—a beautiful fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors.

As a child, I often struggled with reading large, dense books. I had the impression that all stories were rooted in the past—tales of ancient civilizations like the Greeks and Romans, or accounts of monumental wars. Then, at some point in my life, I stumbled upon the world of fantasy and science fiction—a realm where the impossible felt within reach and imagination knew no bounds. These stories didn’t dwell solely on the past but instead dared to envision bold and thought-provoking futures. This discovery deeply resonated with me, captivating my curiosity and inspiring me to adopt a forward-thinking mindset that continues to shape how I view the world today.

Family has always been at the heart of who I am. Growing up in a large Italian family, with roots in Sicily, I learned the value of close-knit bonds, even when distance separated us. Now, as I’ve built a family of my own, I am deeply committed to being the best father to my children and the best husband to my wife. I make it a priority to dedicate as much of my free time as possible to creating meaningful moments with them. Whether it’s going on bike rides, exploring bouldering challenges, or camping under the stars, these shared experiences bring me immense joy and allow us to grow closer as a family.

Coaching has been a key part of my role since I joined the Bosch Central UX department in 2017, starting as a Design Thinking Coach. My primary responsibility was to train and empower hundreds of coworkers across the Bosch organization. While my initial focus was on design thinking, I also collaborated with the Bosch Business Innovation Team, gaining valuable insights into approaching projects from a business perspective. I found it particularly rewarding to blend methods from both disciplines, creating a holistic coaching experience that delivered the best value to my coachees.
